Basketball Game Preview: West Muskingum Tornadoes vs. John Glenn Little Muskies

West Muskingum is 2-8 against John Glenn since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The West Muskingum Tornadoes will host the John Glenn Little Muskies at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Saturday, everything came up roses for West Muskingum against Crooksville as the squad secured a 65-38 victory. Given the Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Ceramics are ranked 612th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, John Glenn humbled Morgan with a 75-39 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Little Muskies.

West Muskingum is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for John Glenn, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

Everything went West Muskingum's way against John Glenn in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as West Muskingum made off with a 55-35 victory. Will West Muskingum repeat their success, or does John Glenn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
