Football Recap: Edmondson-Westside Piles Up the Points Against Benjamin Franklin

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edmondson-Westside). They claimed a resounding 38-8 victory over the Benjamin Franklin Bayhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Red Storm, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Edmondson-Westside and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 points in those games. As for Benjamin Franklin, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edmondson-Westside will face off against Carver Vo-Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will take on Green Street Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
