Basketball Game Preview: Clearfield Bison vs. Central Cambria Red Devils

The Clearfield Bison will challenge the Central Cambria Red Devils at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Clearfield is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since January 29, 2025 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Hollidaysburg by a score of 57-55.

Meanwhile, Central Cambria played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Forest Hills 78-37. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Central Cambria saw an underclassman step up: sophomore JD Brouse went 6-for-13 to rack up 14 points. Brouse is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jake Fisher, who posted five points.

Clearfield's defeat dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Central Cambria, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
