Softball Recap: Westside Victorious

After losing to Daniel the last time they met, Westside decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westside Rams walked away with a 10-5 win over the Daniel Lions on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Samantha Haney was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryann Sanders, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Westside's record now sits at 2-0. As for Daniel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Westside will be taking part in a tournament against Indian Land at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Daniel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
