Volleyball Recap: Armuchee Indians vs. Fannin County Rebels

There's no place like home for Armuchee, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fannin County Rebels by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 29-27, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Armuchee had a senior duo take command as Taylor Burns had 13 digs and Taylor Ragland had seven digs and two aces. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Burns.

Armuchee pushed their record up to 31-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Fannin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-8.

Armuchee will challenge Darlington at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Darlington will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Armuchee surely won't give up without a fight. Fannin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
