Volleyball Game Preview: Hercules Titans vs. El Cerrito Gauchos

Hercules took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Saint Mary's. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

While Hercules might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Saint Mary's scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, El Cerrito got the win against Oakland on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

The victory didn't come easy: Oakland scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-19.

Hercules' win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for El Cerrito, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.
