Northeast waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against Carver High School of Engineering & Science by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Northeast got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 31-29, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19.

Northeast's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northeast will challenge rival Central at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Carver High School of Engineering & Science is set to square off against their familiar foe Thomas A. Edison at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
