Basketball Recap: Holmes Huskies vs. Marshall Rams

Holmes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marshall Rams. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), the Huskies still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Holmes still got an impressive performance from Joseph Ramon, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 27 points and three steals. Those 27 points gave Ramon a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Conrad, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds.

Marshall was led to victory by Jason Vidaurri and Jai Lopez.
