Washington won the last time they faced Wallenberg and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Washington Eagles' way against the Wallenberg Bulldogs as the Washington Eagles made off with a 62-40 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Washington was led to victory by Korey Abantao and Ezana Hailu. Abantao went 8 for 14 en route to 17 points and five assists, while Hailu went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points and five assists. Abantao has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonah Chiu, who posted five points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Washington has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Wallenberg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Washington will square off against Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Washington likes a good challenge. As for Wallenberg, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Galileo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
