Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee fell victim to Lenox Memorial and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millionaires. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Millionaires: they've now lost three in a row.

Lee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Lynch, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Lynch has snagged this season.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lenox Memorial, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee will face off against Smith Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lenox Memorial, they will challenge Gateway Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
