There's no place like home for Tipton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past the Clinton Central Bulldogs 3-2. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs on Tuesday, too.

Tipton wouldn't go down easily and took Clinton Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-8, 15-5.

Kelyn Everling paced Tipton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Everling got some help from Bella Henderson and her 18 assists. Henderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Tipton's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Clinton Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Tipton will square off against Western at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Panthers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Clinton Central, they will challenge Rossville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
