Baseball Recap: South Bend Adams Takes a Loss

South Bend Adams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Warsaw Tigers, falling 14-4.

AIDAN MICINSKI was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

South Bend Adams' defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Warsaw, their record is now 9-6.

Looking ahead, South Bend Adams will take on Valparaiso at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Warsaw, they will square off against Mishawaka at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavemen will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
