It was a good run, but West Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 55-44 to the Pullman Greyhounds. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 57-47.

West Valley's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 11-1 and their overall record down to 15-3. As for Pullman, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Valley and East Valley will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Pullman, they will take on North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pullman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully North Central likes a good challenge.
