Baseball Recap: Blackstone Valley RVT Triumphs

Blackstone Valley RVT posted their closest victory since April 29th on Sunday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bellingham Blackhawks, sneaking past 12-11. That's more bragging rights for the Beavers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Alex Vosburgh, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Blackstone Valley RVT: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jacob Macdonald, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Blackstone Valley RVT always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.
