Volleyball Recap: Olympic Comes Up Short

Olympic managed to slip by Palisades the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Pumas on Wednesday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pumas apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

While Olympic was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Palisades' winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-17.

Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Palisades, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Olympic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palisades has already played their next contest (against Providence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
