The Morgan Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the East Leopards at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morgan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Green Canyon hit Morgan with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans came up short against the Wolves, falling 13-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Morgan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Venz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

East came out on top against Murray on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Leopards walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Spartans.

East is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Morgan, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.
