Volleyball Recap: Immaculate Heart Academy Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Immaculate Heart Academy waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Paramus Catholic Paladins by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

Immaculate Heart Academy never let Paramus Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-5.

Leading Immaculate Heart Academy to victory were Lilith Roman and Emma Fowler. Roman had 11 digs and two aces, while Fowler had eight digs and three aces. Roman is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

They weren't the only good servers: Immaculate Heart Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Immaculate Heart Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Paramus Catholic, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Immaculate Heart Academy will venture away from home to challenge Wayne Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paramus Catholic, after both having extra time off, they and Passaic will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday.
