Baseball Recap: McKinley Red Dragons vs. Struthers Wildcats        
        
		
            
 There's no place like home for McKinley, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Monday. They skirted past the Struthers Wildcats  5-4. This was a revenge  match for McKinley, as the team was forced to settle for  a  16-6 loss when these two played  last Monday.
  Brixton Gilmour spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.
 At the plate,  AJ Yost was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Landon Turner, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 On Struthers' side, they got a good showing from  Noah Carnahan, who   tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 On the hitting side, Struthers saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anthony Pastella, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Pastella has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Travis McMurray, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 McKinley's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Struthers, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKinley will  challenge Lakeview at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Struthers, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Hubbard at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
