Baseball Recap: Gentry Comes Up Short

Gentry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Cleveland Central Wolves, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Gentry's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Cleveland Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Gentry is set to face off against their familiar foe Holmes County Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cleveland Central will take on rival Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
