Softball Recap: Savanna Comes Up Short

Savanna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the Santiago Cavaliers. The Rebels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavaliers from their previous meeting back in February of 2019.

Savanna saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenadee Ellis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Savanna's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Santiago, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Savanna will challenge Calvary Chapel at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santiago, they will face off against Los Amigos at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Amigos' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Santiago's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
