Pond Creek-Hunter has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Garber, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Pond Creek-Hunter has already played their next contest, a 42-29 loss against Dover on the 25th. As for Garber, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-39 defeat against Waukomis on the 25th.
