Basketball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 64-53 to the Carolina International Comets.

Carolina International's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but KJ Shouse Jr. led the charge by going 10 for 13 en route to 23 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Griffin, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 17 points and four steals.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Carolina International, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Rock Hill has already played their next contest, a 71-52 defeat against Indian Land on the 28th. As for Carolina International, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-69 win against Piedmont Community Charter on the 30th.
