Volleyball Recap: Grady Comes Up Short

If Grady was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of San Jon on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bronchos came up short against the Tatum Coyotes on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss two weeks ago.

Grady was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tatum work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 28-26, 25-17.

Grady moved to 8-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Tatum, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Grady has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Roy/Mosquero on the 19th. As for Tatum, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Gateway Christian on the 22nd.
