Dixie had won three straight games and Jaselle Mills did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Flyers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Snow Canyon Warriors with plenty of help from Mills, who had 19 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last six times she's played.
While Dixie might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Snow Canyon scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18, 20-25, 25-23.
Snow Canyon's loss came despite strong showings from Carleigh Spafford and Tali Tupe. Spafford had ten digs and two assists, while Tupe had 14 kills and 11 digs.
Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Snow Canyon, they dropped their record down to 9-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
