Basketball Recap: Reading Memorial Comes Up Short

Reading Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lexington Minutemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-47 back in January.

Reading Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Reading Memorial will challenge Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will venture away from home to face off against Winchester at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
