Gus Stogsdill Dazzles in Gridley Win
Starting off the list is Gridley's Gus Stogsdill, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stogsdill rushed for 223 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 92 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Stogsdill and Gridley will head out on the road to square off against University Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs had to take a loss when they last met the Panthers, but Stogsdill had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Luke Schager Delivers Best Effort of Season
Luke Schager produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Orland to the win on Friday. Schager rushed for 196 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 32 yards and a touchdown. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Orland, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. Schager and Orland will take on Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Martin Posts Huge Game in 56-21 Win
Manny Martin put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September on Friday. He rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 54 yards.
This year, Martin has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 43.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.5 rushing yards per game.

Zane Frailey Goes Supernova in Orland Victory
Zane Frailey posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
For the year, Frailey has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 39.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.43 rushing yards per game.

Tanner Tillotson Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Tanner Tillotson of Live Oak. Tillotson picked up 137 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Live Oak's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7. Tillotson and Live Oak will take on Lassen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
