Recap: Centennial Stars vs. Dunbar Wolverines
The Centennial Stars couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. Their rough 65-43 loss to Dunbar on Saturday might stick with them for a while.
Among those leading the charge was Baron White, who scored 27 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lamontre Tripp, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Dunbar, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will take on Eastmoor Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dunbar, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stivers School for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
