Galena has gone 8-2 against Carson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will venture away from home to face off against the Senators at 3:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Galena fell victim to Bishop Manogue and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miners. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Grizzlies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 9-5 to Bishop Manogue.

Carson got a good showing from Max Mendoza, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mendoza has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Carson saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kodie Campbell, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Galena's record is now 12-10. As for Carson, their record now sits at 8-20.

Galena took their win against Carson in their previous meeting on April 10th by a conclusive 8-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
