Basketball Recap: Twin Lakes Comes Up Short

Twin Lakes lost against West Lafayette back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Twin Lakes Indians took a blow against the West Lafayette Red Devils, falling 71-44. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Red Devils are ranked 74th).

Despite the loss, Twin Lakes still got an impressive performance from Bryce Wilhite, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jack Kaufmann, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Twin Lakes and nudges their season record down to 10-7. As for West Lafayette, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Twin Lakes will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lafayette Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. Twin Lakes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season. West Lafayette has already played their next contest (against Lafayette Jefferson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
