Baseball Recap: Lowell Red Devils vs. Oakland Oakers
On Monday Lowell's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Oakland Oakers. The four-run effort marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Carter Harris was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenden Myers, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Lowell's record now sits at 7-0. As for Oakland, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowell will head out to face off against Camas Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakland, they will venture away from home to square off against North Douglas/Elkton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
