Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Lakeside Lutheran

The Jefferson Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lakeside Lutheran will have to contend with a Jefferson squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since September 25. Jefferson and Stoughton finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Lakeside Lutheran played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Wisconsin Heights.

Jefferson's draw makes their record 1-11-2 this season. Meanwhile, Lakeside Lutheran's record is now 9-6-4.

Jefferson couldn't quite get it done against Lakeside Lutheran in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 as they fell 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
