Volleyball Game Preview: Grand Junction Central Warriors vs. Coal Ridge Titans + How To Watch

The Grand Junction Central Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Coal Ridge Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Junction Central has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with seven straight defeats, while Coal Ridge will come in with five straight victories.

Grand Junction Central came up short against Palisade on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Coal Ridge got the win against Moffat County on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

Coal Ridge never let Moffat County on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Coal Ridge's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Grand Junction Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Grand Junction Central skirted past Coal Ridge 3-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
