Volleyball Recap: Dos Pueblos Takes a Loss

Dos Pueblos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ventura Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-11.

Dos Pueblos' defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Ventura, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dos Pueblos will take on rival Buena at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ventura is set to square off against their familiar foe Oxnard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
