Seaman proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Leavenworth PIONEERS by a goal, winning 2-1. Ryin Miller had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Seaman.

Seaman's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Leavenworth, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaman will face off against Washburn Rural at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Seaman will need to watch out since Washburn Rural have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for Leavenworth, they will take on Ottawa at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
