Baseball Recap: Bloomington South Panthers vs. Center Grove Trojans

Bloomington South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Center Grove Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bloomington South of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Bloomington South got a good showing from Theodore Kroeger, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kroeger has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.

As for Center Grove, they will face off against Zionsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Center Grove: 3.2, Zionsville: 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
