Volleyball Recap: Mentor Cardinals vs. Archbishop Hoban Knights
After flying high against Kenston on Tuesday, Mentor came back down to earth. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Archbishop Hoban Knights on Thursday. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
Mentor was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 17 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-17.
Kayden McKinney paced Mentor's offense, picking up seven kills. McKinney got some help from Addison Keeper and her ten assists. Ava Garrett controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
