Football Recap: Lily Holden and Kaila Pierce Secure Win for Bartram Trail

Bartram Trail won the last time they faced Riverside and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bartram Trail Bears came out on top against the Riverside Generals by a score of 20-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

A big part of Bartram Trail's win came down to the chemistry between Kaila Pierce and her top target Lily Holden. Pierce threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.2% of her passes while Holden picked up 123 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Pierce a new career-high in passer rating (156.8).

The victory got Bartram Trail back to even at 4-4. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
