Soccer Recap: Marietta Takes a Loss

Marietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets.

Marietta's goal came courtesy of Rachel Barrau, who's now up to eight this season.

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Sprayberry, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marietta will take on South Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sprayberry, they will welcome River Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
