Andover faced Blaine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies fell 8-3 to the Bengals. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Andover saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Wallin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Andover's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Blaine, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andover will head out to face off against St. Louis Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blaine, they will venture away from home to challenge Osseo at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
