Cape Coral and Mariner squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cape Coral had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mariner Tritons, falling 6-0. The Seahawks have struggled against the Tritons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Cape Coral's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12-3. As for Mariner, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.

Cape Coral does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mariner, they will square off against Braden River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Braden River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
