Softball Recap: Groveton Comes Up Short

Groveton fell victim to Riesel and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 7-0 to Riesel. It was the first time this season that Groveton let down their fans at home.

Groveton's loss dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for Riesel, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Groveton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-4 win against Rogers on the 1st. As for Riesel, they will square off against Clifton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
