Volleyball Recap: Bravo Comes Up Short

Bravo and Maywood CES squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bravo had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolfpack, falling 3-0. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolfpack earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Bravo moved to 13-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Maywood CES, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-14 record this season.

Bravo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maywood CES, after both having extra time off, they and Mendez will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
