Parkersburg's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Ripley. The win made it back-to-back victories for Parkersburg.

Landen Deuley was the driving force of Parkersburg's attack as he scored both of Parkersburg's goals, bringing his season total up to 30 goals.

Meanwhile, Wheeling Park faced Fairmont Senior in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Tuesday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Polar Bears with a sharp 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for Wheeling Park, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Wheeling Park's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Parkersburg, their win bumped their record up to 10-7-1.

Parkersburg suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Wheeling Park when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Big Reds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
