Central Cabarrus extends home winning streak to 25

The Central Cabarrus Vikings put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Robinson at home to the tune of 87-36. Central Cabarrus has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Carson Daniel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Chase Daniel was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.

Central Cabarrus pushed their record up to 15-0 with that win, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.8 points per game. As for Robinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Cabarrus won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Lake Norman Charter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 300 points over their last four contests. Robinson's road trip will continue as they head out to face West Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (West Rowan is ranked 154th, while Robinson is ranked 170th).
