Basketball Recap: Lakeland Comes Up Short

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Riverside Vikings and fell 67-37. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while the Vikings are ranked 35th).

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Riverside, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Looking ahead, Lakeland will take on Mid Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside, they will square off against Western Wayne at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
