Holbrook has gone 10-0 against Show Low recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Holbrook Roadrunners will venture away from home to take on the Show Low Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Holbrook will head out to face Show Low after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Holbrook fell just short of Winslow by a score of 59-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Roadrunners still had to take the loss.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tyler Tapaha, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 20 points along with seven boards and seven steals. That was a full 35.1% of Holbrook's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaron Becenti, who earned 20 points.

Meanwhile, Show Low beat St. Johns 65-52 on Thursday.

Holbrook's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Show Low, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Everything went Holbrook's way against Show Low in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Holbrook made off with a 75-51 victory. Will Holbrook repeat their success, or does Show Low have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
