Soccer Recap: Berwyn/Cicero Morton Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

After flying high against Argo on Wednesday, Berwyn/Cicero Morton came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Lane Tech Champions on Friday. Berwyn/Cicero Morton were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lane Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2-2. As for Lane Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton and Lane Tech should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Mustangs (ranked eighth) will meet Addison Trail (ranked 129th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lane Tech will face off against Whitney Young at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (9 vs. 266).
