Softball Recap: J.L. Mann Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southside on Wednesday, J.L. Mann came back down to earth. The Patriots came up short against the Greenville Red Raiders on Thursday, falling 9-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Red Raiders: they've now lost six in a row.

J.L. Mann's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Greenville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

J.L. Mann wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Woodmont on the 14th. As for Greenville, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against Easley on the 14th.
