Basketball Recap: Crescent Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lake Quinault last Friday, Crescent came back down to earth. The Crescent Loggers received a blow on Saturday as they fell 61-46 to the Oakville Acorns. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Loggers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-60 back in December of 2024.

Crescent has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Oakville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crescent will face off against Shoreline Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for Oakville, they will challenge Pe Ell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
