Cathedral is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against New Castle as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Fighting Irish not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Lawrence North came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Warren Central by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Lawrence North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 25-10, 25-22.

Cathedral's record is now 26-5. As for Lawrence North, their record now sits at 10-14.
